1950’s Alluminium Kitchen Unit with marble worktop

This unit is ideal for a restaurant feature as a cutlery and condiment station or for the home as an original individual feature.

A 1950’s alluminium kitchen larder updated with a white marble top is a product of the utility furniture revolution after the Second World War, when armaments such as planes and fighters were melted for their alluminium and converted into furnishings for the home. Kitchen units and homeware items such as pots, pans, toasters, storage containers, dustpans, and potato peelers were all manufactured to meet market demand at the time.
The above larder offered is a fine example of a self-contained unit, strpped and polished to a high reflective finish.
