An exquisite and very rare ALKA MALTA Studio Potteries vase crafted to look authentically like a cardboard box with rusty staples and beautifully achieved
The studio has gone to all pains to achieve authenticity with this piece, and my goodness, they have done a fantastic job.
All the characteristics have been copied perfectly, including the internal corrugation to stiffen the box, which can be seen on the running edge and on the body of the box, where it seems cellotape has been ripped off, and of course the characteristic staples that finish it off nicely.
It really does look like a cardboard box.
