A very rare vintage orange leather reupholstered Parker Knoll Time Life Statesman Baby Egg Chair manufactured in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s
From the originals, of which few exist, in 20 years of searching, we have only ever come across one other, and like the adult versions of the day, it was upholstered in vinyl.

This example has been expertly reupholstered in orange leather to reflect the spirit of the flower power age and has been in our stock inventory, wrapped in plastic for a number of years like a fine wine, because we simply could not part with it ourselves.

It is, however, time for this item to go to the home of the luckiest and coolest child on the planet.

A perfect statement piece and the only one of its kind in the world, we can comfortably say that until proven otherwise.
It makes this a chair of exceptional rarity and a piggy bank for said lucky child since it will only rise in value.
Still as fresh as the day it was packed away and only since been viewed occasionally, we have noticed an insignificant 5mm graze that we feel duty-bound to inform the buyer of.
